You are blessed. My husband's company did a 25% reduction in May and he was one of the "lucky contestants" invited to leave. He did get a nice severance which helped for a couple of months. Still no permanent employment as of today, only temp jobs. It's a tough time for our country. But, I can now bear personal testimony of the great miracle and beauty of the Bishop's Storehouse. Even in trial and hard times, there is so much to be thankful for. We still live in the wealthiest country in the world. Ah, this one hits home for me too. You are blessed.
