FAIR has just announced that they will be providing live video streaming over the internet of the conference. It is available for $20. You can sign up at the bottom of the FAIR Conference webpage:

Hmmm…for those of us who live far away, what to do…pay for the webcast or enjoy Bryce’s liveblogging? Do both? Either way, the content looks to be exciting and enjoyable.

I have been informed by a representative of FAIR that the conference will be live-streamed again but this year there will be charge to view the presentations.

Hi Tim. I can link my liveblog to my Twitter account, such that the liveblog entries are tweeted. The problem is that it would only publish them every 30 minutes, and only the last 5 entries (if I use Twitterfeed.com). Twitter probably isn’t the best place to publish all of the entries from a liveblog anyways, because there are hundreds. There is an RSS feed that I can generate, however. That might be a better way to follow the liveblog.

I think they are trying to set up an Internet stream like they did last year. Haven’t heard if they’ve been successful yet.
