My wife and I just did some initiatory work last weekend for some family names my mom gave me. What a wonderful experience it was to participate in a portion of the work that is often overlooked and under appreciated.

I love the initiatory work of the temple as it contains immediate promises and blessings pronounced upon the initiate!

And the washing and anointing room of the Mesa Temple is fabulous!

Just one more proof, to me at least, that Joseph Smith received the washing and anointing ordinance through the revelatory process. Neat stuff. Thanks David and Bryce!
